Composition: released corn, hemoglobin powder, released sorghum (10%), released rice, meat meal, beef fat, whey powder, brewer’s yeast, vegetable fibers, cold pressed sunflower oil, minerals, lecithin, 1% Scottish salmon oil, inulin, vitamins and trace elements.
Digestibility: 84%, Protein/Energy ratio: 23,16%, Energy: 4145 Kcal/kg / 17,35 Mj/kg
The composition of Farm Food HE “Gluten free” is basically the same as the composition of Farm Food HE “Scottish Salmon Oil” and “Classic”. However, the big difference is that the wheat is replaced by Sorghum and rice (both puffed, and precooked).
To produce a gluten free product most manufacturers simply replace all the wheat by corn. However, we learned that the maximum amount of corn is exceeded by doing so. That is why we investigated other solutions. Sorghum (much more expensive than corn) is the solution we were looking for.
