We are very excited to announce a new working relationship with The Lost Dog Trapping Team Search and Rescue CIC!!

The Lost Dog Trapping Team is a small group of 15 local, experienced volunteers who help and support owners searching for their missing dogs, covering the whole of the North of England.

They raise awareness of the lost dogs initially through social media, posters etc., go tracking in the area and then once they have sightings, set up feeding stations and cameras to monitor the dog's movements. In many cases the lost dog is terrified and in survival mode so in these instances they need to set a humane trap complete with monitoring cameras in order to capture the dog quickly and get them safely home.

The team are extremely accomplished at what they do, able to give immediate advice to owners and continue to support owners 24/7 from Day 1, communicating fully and guiding them through a range of understandably mixed emotions whilst their dog is missing.

We are approaching the halfway point of 2025 and already over 100 dogs have been reunited with their owners thanks to their help and advice.

They continue daily supporting owners in the search for their missing pets. It would be ideal if dogs didn't go missing in the first place but accidents happen and no owner is judged whatever the circumstances. Where appropriate, after reunion, advice is given to keep their dog safe in the future, with monitoring visits if appropriate.

They spend their own money on fuel, food for feeding stations, ink and paper for 100's of posters as well as every hour of their own free time.

Specialist equipment is used (cameras, thermal scopes drones, traps etc) and they rely on donations from the public plus their own fundraising efforts to purchase this vital equipment.

250 points = £5 voucher

500 points = £10 voucher

750 points = £15 voucher

The Lost Dog Trapping Team can then use the vouchers to buy vital supplies, items such as high value foods or treats or products to raffle or use as prizes at fundraisers to buy equipment for their rescues.

The donation scheme starts on 1/6/25 customers just need to let a member of staff know at checkout that they want to donate their points. Previously earned points cannot be transferred.

The Lost Dog Trapping Team is a registered CIC, with full transparency for supporters of how funds raised are used within their organisation.
